JACK & DONNA WRIGHT: Owner/Operator have been in the real estate and construction development business over 45 years. Jack received his Connecticut real estate license in 1970 and they never looked back. Together they built a successful business constructing and selling homes, condominiums and commercial properties. After moving to Florida, Jack & Donna partnered with a thriving developer for the next eighteen years. They are noted for building one of Florida’s first energy efficient homes.
They were enjoying continued success in Florida when a friend approached them in 2001 suggesting they build a hotel in Green River, Utah. Jack’s first reaction was, “I’m not in the hotel business”. After much thought, they decided to build and operate that hotel. This eventually led them to Utah and then to Colorado, as their hotel business started to grow. The hotel industry opened a new world for the Wright family as they saw a niche in the hotel development market. After building three more hotels of their own, the Wright Group was formed and they continue to build for other owners as Wright Hospitality.
